Ukraine, Moldova sign intergovernmental agreements.

KYIV, February 1. Ukraine's Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and her Moldovan counterpart Vlad Filat have today signed a protocol amending the intergovernmental agreement on mutual recognition of rights and property relations regulation dated August 11, 1994, as well as the agreement of cooperation in the area of youth policy. According to Tymoshenko, these instruments will enhance bilateral cooperation and speed up Ukraine's integration with the European Union. As referred to the protocol signed, the Ukrainian Premier says, it has actually confirmed the start of demarcation of the Ukraine-Moldova border at the Transnistrian section. "The first technical procedures have already started at the border. And this indicates that within February we are just obliged to settle all problems related to indefinite territories, property objects," she said. In his turn, Filat confirmed Moldova's readiness to end solving urgent issues the protocol refers to by the end of February. Ukraine and Moldova set to demarcation of the state border on January 29.
