KYIV. The National Football team of Ukraine to be headed by coach of FC Metalist (Kharkiv) Myron Markevych. Coach of national U-19 football team Yuriy Kalytvyntsev will assist to the chief coach. Such a decision was unanimously accepted at an executive committee meeting of the Football Federation of Ukraine.

Myron Markevych will head both FC Metalist and the national football team. President of the football club Oleksandr Yaroslavskyi gave his official consent regarding that the coach would combine two posts. Myron Markevych was assigned for the post at his 59th birthday.
